Project ZAP - Catalogs the efforts of 10,000 people who began to clean up the Blackstone River in September of 1972. The Blackstone River was the first polluted river on the North American Continent beginning in 1793 with the onset of the American Industrial Revolution. The film is grainy but it is the only known chronology of the Blackstone Valley's first river reclamation. Produced by Blue Sky Films. The 7th Annual Rhode Island Chinese Dragon Boat Races and Taiwan Day Festival - Produced by the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council on the Pawtucket River. This one day event highlights the 500 year old tradition of Dragon Boats in the Chinese Culture. 40 races take place with Chinese food and entertainment presented by Taiwan ROC through the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office of Boston and the Rhode Island Association of Chinese Americans. This event is a part of the Pawtucket Arts Festival, Pawtucket Rhode Island. View on Google
