The Blackstone River is one of 14 American Heritage Rivers,
the powerful Blackstone flows between Worcester,
Massachusetts and Providence Rhode Island. The John H.
Chafee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor
tells the story of the river's role in starting New
England's textile industry and the American Industrial
Revolution. |

Hopkins Country Store |
|
Visit America's oldest continuously
operated country store and other antique shops in this
quaint New England village which will bring back memories of
a simpler time. |

12:00 pm Wright's
Farm Restaurant |
|
At Wright's Farm Restaurant you will have
the "Chicken Family Style". This Valley tradition started in
the 1930's among the Italian immigrants. It's a hearty meal
that is served only in the Valley. |

1:45 Walk in
the Woods |
|
Walk off your lunch and take in the
spectacular wooded fall foliage. Your guide from the Rhode
Island Audubon Society will take you back in time to when
the Valley's first Americans walked paths here long before
the first colonists arrived. Discover the wildlife that call
these woods home and be on the lookout for migrating birds.

pm Jaswell's Farm |

After your walk, rest with a cup of fresh
apple cider and pastry. Located in the heart of "apple
valley" in the beautiful and historic town of Smithfield,
Rhode Island, Jaswell's Farm is owned and operated by the
fourth generation of the Jaswell Family. |

Tavern on Main (Optional) |

If you choose to continue your
ghost hunting experience in the Blackstone Valley, you can
join paranormal investigators Tom D'Agostino and Arlene
