of 14 American Heritage Rivers, the powerful Blackstone
flows between Worcester, Massachusetts and Providence Rhode
Island. The John H. Chafee Blackstone River Valley National
Heritage Corridor tells the story of the river's role in
starting New England's textile industry and the American
Industrial Revolution. |

We begin at Chepachet Farm where with a
scrumptious pancake breakfast and horse-drawn wagon ride.
Learn first hand about maple sugaring during your tour of
the farm's Sugar House, where more than 500 gallons of syrup
are boiled and prepared for bottling every year. |

Brown & Hopkins Country Store |

Visit America's oldest continuously
operated country store and other antique shops in this
quaint New England village which will bring back memories of
a simpler time. |

Wright's Farm Restaurant |
|
At Wright's Farm Restaurant you will have
the "Chicken Family Style". This Valley tradition started in
the 1930's among the Italian immigrants. It's a hearty meal
that is served only in the Valley.

Spring Lake Arcade |
|
Explore the world's oldest Penny Arcade
that is located on Spring Lake Beach in Burrillville. It is
the longest operating "penny" arcade in existence. Here you
will try your hand at the vintage penny arcade games and you
can also relax and enjoy the view of the lake. |

Wright's Dairy Farm |

We finish our day at this working dairy
farm and shop for homemade pastries in the bakery. |
