Holiday Shopping in Pawtucket

The Blackstone River, one of 14 American Heritage Rivers, flows between Worcester, Massachusetts and Providence Rhode Island. The John H. Chafee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor tells the story of the river's role in starting New England's textile industry and the American Industrial Revolution.

10:00 am Crafters and Farmers Market at Hope Artiste Village

If you are seeking locally made jewelry and crafts, this is the shop for you. Hope Artiste Village is home to several artisans and crafters that including jewelry and seasonal craft store and on Saturday mornings you can get a cup of coffee and pastry at our indoor farmer's market.

12:30 pm Lunch at Hope Artiste Village

There are two restaurants and a bakery located at Hope Artiste Village located in a former mill building in Pawtucket at the Providence border. Your choice is Portuguese or American food.

2:30 pm Not Your Run-of-the-Mill Museum Shop

Located in the Blackstone Valley Visitor Center, this delightful little shop features jewelry, glass, paper, fine art and textile items made by local artists and other unique gift items. While here learn about Blackstone Valley history and view the award-winning film, "Hidden in the Blackstone."

4:00 pm Rhode Island Antique Mall

Specializing in Art Decor and modern design from 1950's, browse two floors for high-quality antiques.

This is a guided tour.
